Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy

Effective date September 16, 2026
Policy version 1.1
Policy owner My Snapboard, LLC
Applies to All authorized resellers advertising SNAP! products in the United States

Purpose. This policy protects consistent presentation of the SNAP! brand and supports authorized resellers who invest in product education, merchandising, customer service, and responsible retail promotion[cite: 1]. It governs advertised prices only[cite: 1]. Each reseller remains free to establish its own actual resale prices[cite: 1].

Unilateral policy. This is a unilateral policy of My Snapboard, LLC[cite: 1]. It is not an agreement, and My Snapboard, LLC does not request or accept any reseller's agreement to comply[cite: 1]. No employee or representative is authorized to negotiate this policy, seek assurances of compliance, or agree with a reseller concerning resale prices[cite: 1].

1 Covered products and MAP prices

The following minimum advertised prices apply unless My Snapboard, LLC publishes a written revision or authorizes a specific promotion in writing[cite: 1].

Covered SNAP! product MSRP MAP
SNAP! Tobacco Wood serving board $79.99 $79.99
SNAP! Mahogany serving board $79.99 $79.99

Future products. New products, accessories, bundles, replacement parts, and special editions are covered only after My Snapboard, LLC issues a written MAP schedule identifying the product and applicable MAP[cite: 1].

2 Advertisements covered by this policy

MAP applies to prices communicated to the public through advertising, including[cite: 1]:

  • Retailer websites, product pages, landing pages, and publicly viewable shopping pages[cite: 1].
  • Third-party marketplaces, comparison-shopping services, and retailer feeds supplied to those services[cite: 1].
  • Paid-search advertisements, display advertisements, social-media posts and advertisements, affiliate advertising, and influencer advertising controlled or funded by the reseller[cite: 1].
  • Email, SMS, catalogs, circulars, direct mail, flyers, signage visible outside the physical store, and other public promotional materials[cite: 1].
  • Advertisements that communicate a discount, coupon, rebate, gift card, store credit, bundle value, or other benefit that makes the advertised net price of a covered product appear below MAP[cite: 1].

3 Advertising practices that violate the policy

A covered advertisement violates this policy when it[cite: 1]:

  • Displays a covered product at a price below the applicable MAP[cite: 1].
  • Uses strike-through pricing, percentage-off language, dollar-off language, coupon codes, rebates, gift cards, loyalty credits, or similar devices that communicate a net advertised price below MAP[cite: 1].
  • Combines a covered product with another product or benefit in a way that assigns an advertised value to the covered product below MAP[cite: 1].
  • Uses phrases such as 'call for price,' 'email for price,' 'click for lower price,' or similar wording primarily to communicate that the advertised price is below MAP before the customer begins checkout[cite: 1].
  • Advertises refurbished, damaged, returned, demonstration, or clearance products as though they were new covered products unless My Snapboard, LLC has authorized that designation and promotion in writing[cite: 1].

4 Activities outside this policy

This policy regulates advertised prices, not actual selling prices[cite: 1]. The following are outside the policy, provided they are not used to communicate a below-MAP price publicly[cite: 1]:

  • The price at which a reseller actually sells a covered product in an individual transaction[cite: 1].
  • A price shown only after the customer places the product in an online cart or reaches a password-protected or account-specific checkout page, provided no below-MAP price is visible in public advertising[cite: 1].
  • A one-to-one price quotation requested by an individual customer and delivered privately by telephone, email, or written quotation[cite: 1].
  • Taxes, shipping charges, financing terms, and services separately stated rather than used to disguise a below-MAP advertised price[cite: 1].
  • Storewide promotions that do not identify SNAP! products, do not show a calculated below-MAP SNAP! price, and are not promoted as a way to obtain SNAP! below MAP[cite: 1].
  • In-store selling prices and individualized in-store negotiations that are not visible or promoted outside the physical store[cite: 1].

5 Authorized promotions and exceptions

My Snapboard, LLC may announce promotional periods, product-specific exceptions, or revised MAP amounts in a written notice issued by an authorized company representative[cite: 1]. The notice will identify the applicable products, promotional terms, and effective dates[cite: 1]. An exception applies only for the stated period and does not modify the policy for any other product or time[cite: 1].

No informal exceptions. Statements by sales representatives, other resellers, customers, or third parties do not create an exception[cite: 1]. A reseller should rely only on a written notice issued by My Snapboard, LLC[cite: 1].

Standing Black Friday and Christmas holiday exception. Authorized resellers may publicly advertise covered SNAP! products at a discount of 10% through 15% from the Monday immediately preceding Thanksgiving through December 24 of each calendar year[cite: 1]. For a product with an MSRP and regular MAP of $79.99, the permitted advertised price range during this period is $67.99 through $71.99[cite: 1]. This standing exception does not require a separate promotional notice unless My Snapboard, LLC issues a written modification or suspension before the promotion begins[cite: 1].

Holiday promotion conditions. The retailer must clearly state the promotional period, may not advertise a discount greater than 15%, and may not combine the holiday discount with another coupon, rebate, gift card, loyalty credit, bundle allocation, or similar benefit that produces an advertised net price below $67.99[cite: 1]. Advertising must return to the regular MAP when the authorized period ends[cite: 1].

6 Monitoring and independent enforcement

My Snapboard, LLC may monitor public advertising directly or through service providers[cite: 1]. The company will determine, independently and in its sole discretion, whether an advertisement violates this policy and what action, if any, to take[cite: 1]. Depending on the circumstances, the company may discontinue advertising support, suspend order acceptance, limit product availability, cancel pending unshipped orders where permitted, or discontinue the reseller relationship[cite: 1].

My Snapboard, LLC is not obligated to provide advance notice, an opportunity to cure, a fixed sequence of consequences, or identical action in every circumstance[cite: 1]. The company may consider the advertisement's content, duration, reach, repetition, and effect on the SNAP! brand[cite: 1].

No negotiation. Company personnel will not negotiate enforcement decisions, discuss another reseller's conduct or status, or accept assurances regarding future resale prices[cite: 1]. Questions may be submitted for clarification of the policy's meaning, but the policy and enforcement decisions remain unilateral[cite: 1].

7 Marketplace and reseller responsibilities

  • The reseller is responsible for advertising placed by its employees, agencies, affiliates, marketplace accounts, influencers, and other parties acting on its behalf[cite: 1].
  • The reseller must maintain accurate product listings and promptly remove obsolete advertising after a written MAP revision or authorized promotion expires[cite: 1].
  • Third-party marketplace sales remain subject to My Snapboard, LLC's separate channel-authorization requirements[cite: 1]. This MAP Policy does not grant approval to sell through any marketplace or other channel[cite: 1].
  • The reseller is responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and platform rules[cite: 1].

8 Relationship to returns refunds and warranties

This policy governs advertised prices only[cite: 1]. It does not create, replace, expand, shorten, or otherwise modify any return, refund, store-credit, damaged-item, or warranty right or obligation[cite: 1]. Customer requests must be administered under the return, refund, and warranty terms that apply to the seller and transaction, together with applicable law[cite: 1].

For purchases made directly from My Snapboard, LLC, the company's then-current published Return and Refund Policy and Warranty Policy control[cite: 1]. The seasonal discount does not extend the 30-day return window or the 30-day limited warranty period, change return-condition or proof-of-purchase requirements, convert store credit into a cash refund, or expand warranty coverage[cite: 1]. Damaged or incorrect direct orders remain subject to the published 48-hour reporting requirement[cite: 1].

No MAP workaround through claims. A reseller may not advertise a return credit, warranty benefit, replacement allowance, or similar post-purchase remedy as a device to communicate an advertised net price below the MAP or the applicable authorized promotional price[cite: 1].

9 Administration and revisions

My Snapboard, LLC may revise, suspend, or discontinue this policy or any MAP amount at any time by written notice[cite: 1]. A revision applies prospectively from the effective date stated in the notice[cite: 1]. Continued purchasing or resale of SNAP! products does not constitute an agreement concerning resale prices[cite: 1].

Policy contact. Questions seeking clarification may be directed to rene@mysnapboard.com[cite: 1]. Questions should not request approval of an actual resale price or negotiation of an enforcement decision[cite: 1].

10 Policy receipt

No signature, acceptance, or agreement is requested or required[cite: 1]. Delivery of this policy is notice of My Snapboard, LLC's independently adopted advertising standards and does not create a contract concerning the reseller's actual selling prices[cite: 1].
